Dog First Aid Course

This course is run by Dog First Aid and is designed to empower dog owners and dog professionals with the knowledge and confidence to deal with situations that require basic first aid for their canine companions.

The topics covered in the 4-hour course include CPR technique (theory and practical on a dummy dog), bleeding (plus bandaging practical), choking, shock, seizures, burns, Gastric Dilatation Volvulus, heatstroke, toxins and poisons plus plenty more.

On completion of the course all attendees receive a certificate that is valid for 3 years.

This also counts as 4 hours of Continuous Professional Development.

Date: Saturday 29 November 2025

Time: 10am - 2pm (4 hours)

Location: Lower Kingswood Church Hall (very close to the top of Reigate Hill), Buckland Road, Lower Kingswood, Tadworth, Surrey KT20 7DN

Please do not bring your dogs. It is 4 hours long and a course designed to help you practice things like CPR (which cannot be practiced on a healthy dog - we’ll be using dummy dogs for this)!
